This month's writers include: THERESA SENATO EDWARDS has published two full-length poetry books and two chapbooks, most recently The Music of Hands. Edwards is the Editor-in-Chief of The American Poetry Journal. BRENDAN MATHEWS is the author of This Is Not a Love Song, which Vogue called “vibrant, risk-taking realism.” His work has twice appeared in The Best American Short Stories. His novel, The World of Tomorrow, was longlisted for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. He lives in Lenox, MA. DANNIEL SCHOONEBEEK is the author of American Barricade and Trébuchet, a 2015 National Poetry Series selection. He’s the recipient of a 2019 National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and a 2015 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowship from Poetry Foundation. His recent work appears in Poetry, The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. MELISSA FEBOS is the author of the critically acclaimed memoir, Whip Smart and the essay collection, Abandon Me, which The New Yorker called “mesmerizing." Her work has been widely anthologized and appears in The Believer, Tin House, Granta, The Kenyon Review, Prairie Schooner, Glamour, Guernica, The New York Times,Vogue, and many others.
